Something animation related that I and my partner enjoy is cosplay! Dressing up like strange little weirdos and getting odd looks through the centre of cities is always a great hobby of ours! Last year, we made it our mission to go dressed as Mei Rin and Sebastian Michaelis from one of our favourite anime, Kuroshitsuji. This particular cosplay event was held at Thought Bubble in Leeds and was great learning and networking opportunity for the both of us.
We met various illustrators along the way including the creator of Keo and Moo, a great online comic based around a little boy who makes friends with a cute cow, both of which go on amazing adventures together and experience life lessons. He also taught us "Narwhal Poop Theory" which was based around the fact that whenever you see oil slicks or puddles on the floor that shimmer rainbows, that's because a narwhal pooped there. That doesn't make ANY sense whatsoever, but he was a nice guy so we gave him the time of day.
