Last year, my work also got featured by "GT World" (Giant Tiny World - A popular selection of DeviantArt favourites). The piece was a quick marker pen cartoon of an Alice in Wonderland-esque version of myself on a tablecloth. I particularly liked this piece as I feel I captured the movement of the flowing tea out of the teacup really nicely. I managed to create nice highlights and shadows despite only having two shades to work with!
To improve, I could've thought about composition and the rule of thirds a little more and where the audience's eye is actually drawn to as I pretty much just shoved everything all over the page making it look messy and complicated to look at!
My work also got featured in small, fan-made "Steampunk Magazine". However, I realised that I accidentally deleted the correspondence I had received from the company running the magazine which is incredibly annoying as I now have no evidence of this! I will hopefully learn from this; not all mail is spam mail!
